A Scottish academic uncovered a document that seems to indicate Robin Hood was actually not well liked by poor people, the very people the legend says he served by stealing from the rich.
The document states: “Around this time, according to popular opinion, a certain outlaw named Robin Hood, with his accomplices, infested Sherwood and other law-abiding areas of England with continuous robberies.”
